John Donlan is the author of three collections of poetry, Domestic Economy Brick Books, 1990; reprinted 1997, Baysville House of Anansi, 1993, and Green Man Ronsdale Press, 1999, his poems and reviews have been published in leading journals and several anthologies, and his songs have been recorded by the noted blues musician Ken Hamm. A native of Baysville, in Ontarios Muskoka district, he now works as a reference librarian at the Vancouver Public Library and is a poetry editor with Brick Books.
