The Hannah Kahn Poetry Foundation has worked to bring the finest poets to South Florida, including: Anthony Hecht, Gwendolyn Brooks,Yehuda Amichai, Dana Gioia, Maxine Kumin, John Haag,Carolyn Kizer and Denise Duhamel. The HKPF has worked alone and in conjunction with the University of Miami, the Miami Bookfair International, Florida International University, the Florida Center for the Book, and Nova Southeastern University, to bring quality poetry readings and workshops to South Florida.
