PierFranco Donovan was born in Florence, Italy. He currently resides in Cesano Boscone Milan. In 1987 he graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, U.S.A. B.A., major in Comparative Literature. In 1990 he translated into Italian and edited the publication of the volume Teorie e altre liriche Rome, Carlo Mancosu Editore by the British poet Peter Russell. Other translations of Russells poems are published in the collections La catena doro Florence, Edizioni Paideia 1998 and Poesie dal Valdarno Florence, Pietro Chegai Editore 1999.
