Originally of Syracuse, New York, Lynette Abel grew up primarily in Alexandria, Virginia. After attending MiamiDade Jr. College, and Florida State University, she moved to New York City where she worked for a time at a radio station, then for the NYC Dept.of Education, and later for the architectural firm, I.M. Pei & Partners. Now a writer, her articles have appeared in newspapers throughout the U.S. on many issuesincluding economics, road rage, and love.
